Their sponsorship of the Under 15 Panthers reflects that continued commitment, helping provide opportunities for young players to develop within a positive football environment and continue their journey through the club’s pathway structure.
This commitment to community extends far beyond football.
Ian is also a founder of Taxi Aid Manchester, a charity initiative formed by Manchester black cab drivers to raise funds for local causes. Through events including the Great Manchester Run, Swim and Cycle challenges, the group has raised significant funds for community projects. One standout initiative saw the team organise a taxi pull from Didsbury Village to Manchester Town Hall, raising over £4,000 to support improvements to facilities for disabled children at Lancasterian School.
Taxi Aid continues to support Manchester causes through community fundraising and demonstrates the same values of giving back that we are proud to see reflected in their support of Wythenshawe FC.
