Wythenshawe FC were presented with the Premier Division Championship Trophy at the Avensure Community Stadium on Saturday, following the final home game of the season against Longridge Town.

The title had already been secured earlier in the week with a 5–1 win over Irlam, confirming promotion and an immediate return to Step 4 after last season.

It’s been a season built on consistency, resilience and big moments. From a tough start to the campaign to a strong run through the winter, the group found form at the right time. Results like the 6–2 win over Padiham and the 11–1 victory over City of Liverpool showed what this team is capable of, and ultimately proved decisive in the title race.

Led by Manager James Kinsey, the squad have set the standard across the season and fully deserve the recognition as champions.
