One of those people is Jim Hancock from James Henry Flooring.
Jim’s company proudly sponsors the training kits for our Men’s First Team and both Under 18 sides, supporting an important part of the club’s player pathway and helping ensure our players have what they need to represent the club properly at every level.
James Henry Flooring is a family run carpet and flooring business based in Altrincham, established in 2009, and recognised as one of the North West’s most respected flooring specialists. From luxury vinyl and carpets to wood flooring and bespoke installations, the company has built its reputation on quality workmanship and decades of experience across both residential and commercial projects.
Jim’s own journey into the industry began in 1995 when he started as a 16-year-old apprentice carpet fitter. After more than a decade developing his skills on high-level residential, hotel and office projects across the UK and Europe, he went on to establish his own business during the 2009 recession – something that reflects the hard work and resilience behind the company today.
Alongside supporting the training kits, Jim also helps our Under 18 setup with recruitment support and administrative work within the North West Youth Alliance Premier Division. It is the kind of contribution that often happens quietly in the background but plays an important role in helping a grassroots club operate successfully.
Jim is someone who champions Wythenshawe FC at every level. Whether it is supporting player development, helping the youth structure or simply being someone the club can rely on, he represents exactly the type of person grassroots football depends on. People like Jim form part of the foundation that allows clubs like ours to grow, develop and continue creating opportunities for players.
