Wythenshawe Football Club today announces that Sacha Lord has stepped down from his role as Chair of the club with immediate effect, to spend more time with his new-born and on his new business.
Since joining the club in April 2023, Sacha has played a pivotal role in driving Wythenshawe forward. Under his leadership, the club has increased turnover, community engagement, and overall visibility within the non-league football landscape.
Speaking on his departure, Sacha shared:
“It has been an honour to serve as Chair of Wythenshawe. I’m incredibly proud of everything the club has achieved over the past year and a half. During my time at the club I have seen what the club means to its fans and I’ve seen what it means to the community. Clubs like the Ammies aren’t just a non-league club; for many families, they are a support mechanism that everyone associated with the football club should be proud of.”
The entire Wythenshawe FC family expresses its gratitude to Sacha for his invaluable contributions, and he leaves with our utmost respect and best wishes.
