Bryan Ly Returns to Wythenshawe Ahead of 2025/26 Season

Wythenshawe Football Club is delighted to announce the return of attacking midfielder Bryan Ly ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Following a successful stint with Bury FC, where he delivered standout performances and contributed significantly in the final third, Bryan Ly returns to Wythenshawe, the club where he made his name. The 22-year-old attacking talent rejoins the squad with renewed ambition and a proven record of goal contributions at non-league level.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bryan back to Wythenshawe,” said First Team Manager James Kinsey. “His creativity, work ethic, and goal-scoring ability are unmatched at this level. He’s a player who lifts everyone around him, and the fans know exactly what he brings to the pitch.”

“We are committed to having homegrown players here to propel us. Bryan optimises what we are all about as a club. I am excited to get working with him.”

In his last full season with Wythenshawe prior to his Bury move, Ly scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists for his teammates, quickly earning a reputation as one of the most exciting young talents in the league. His return marks a key step in the club’s plans to push for the top end of the table this season.

Bryan Ly shared his excitement about the move:

“Wythenshawe is home. This club gave me my platform, and I’m coming back to give everything I’ve got and get this club back into the NPL. The fans, the staff, the community—it means a lot to wear this badge again.”

Supporters can catch Bryan in pre-season action starting on July 1st away at Colne.
