Under Shane’s leadership, Wythenshawe achieved remarkable success on the pitch. His dedication, drive, and ability to inspire players and fans alike, set a standard of excellence that will serve as a benchmark for the future.

Speaking on his departure, Shane stated: I’d like to thank the club for an amazing few years, it has brought some of the best memories I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. I’ve given everything to this club for the last few years and it’s time to give some time back to me and the family now. It’s not a decision I’ve taken lightly. What the club and myself have achieved on the resources available is amazing. I wish everyone the best of luck for the future and I’ll be down supporting the club in the coming weeks as it’s time for everyone to get behind the team when they need it most. I just need a break and I’ll be back. Once an Ammie always an Ammie.”
